I am originally from Pittsburgh and started working at our family pizzeria when I was 11 years old. I continued to work there until I left Pittsburgh in 1987 and moved to Maryland.
After working in the banking industry for 12 years here, I opened up Bellisario’s Pizza in Frederick, Maryland in June 2000 using all the same ingredients and recipes taught to me by my mother at her shop. The dough and sauce are made fresh daily and nothing has changed in those recipes for the last 21 years. (If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!)
2020 marked our 20 Year Anniversary! I am proud to be a part of the Frederick business and restaurant industry and honored by the loyalty of our wonderful customers.
